This project included the replacement of all structural landscaping areas to a newly purchased property. The existing products included aging concrete pavers to the driveway, timber retaining walls and an untidy lawn area to the pool. The client specified that she wanted durable products, that not only modernised the areas but were UV stable to manage the tropical climate of these areas that were largely in full sun. The front yard included Austral clay brick 230mm x 130mm paving with a feature border for the driveway, from the road to the whole front of the property and to the right side of the property. New fencing was installed including a concrete block retaining wall to replace existing timber retaining wall on left side, with pillars to match the exiting besser block wall and a new concrete besser block retaining wall. The rear of the property included 600mm x 300mm Bluestone pavers to the pool area, including step and feature for garden bed with a 100mm x 300mm light coloured feature border. This was supported by new concrete pads to create support under the pool overhang and a concrete foundation for structural integrity. The top area of the pool was linked with steps to a new seating area using Enduradeck composite decking. The left courtyard continued with the 600mm x 300mm Bluestone pavers to match the pool area and the existing timber retaining wall was strengthened.
