Shearwater Street - Port Douglas

This project including a full renovation to the front and rear of the property in preparation for the owners of this home returning from overseas after a long period of rental of the property. The property was vacated and work started on a tight timeline before the owners return and ensuring the highest levels of communication with the owners that were overseas to ensure that the project was precise for their return. The existing front yard included a driveway that was in poor condition, a large tree obstructing light into the property and turf. The front yard was transformed with new concrete besser block fence to provide privacy to the front yard with custom aluminium feature screens and a double sliding electric automated gate, a new driveway with a tinted oxide added to the concrete for a charcoal finish once sealed, the existing tree was removed for light into the front of the property, custom-made house number sign and mailbox, finished off with feature lighting to highlight the entrance. The rear yard was transformed from a very basic design of patio paving, mulch / rock surrounding the pool and black aluminium fencing. This area was completely modernised creating a decking area seamlessly linking the patio and pool areas, new frameless glass pool fencing and feature lighting to highlight the palms trees.
